Reservations & Cancellations
Guaranteed Reservation – All reservations must be guaranteed with a valid major credit card. We accept Visa, Mastercard, American Express and Discover Card.
Check-In and Check-Out – Check-in is from 3pm to 10pm. If you expect to arrive after 10pm, you must notify us in advance as special arrangements will be necessary. Check-out is 11am. Please leave your key in your room and lock the door behind you. If you need to speak with a representative of The Lakehouse prior to your departure, please stop in the restaurant, or send a quick e-mail to: firstname.lastname@example.org and someone will be in touch with you in a prompt manner.
Cancellation and No-Shows – For reservations four days or less in duration, cancellation must be at least 48 hours prior to your arrival date. Cancellations made within less than 48 hours of the scheduled arrival date will be charged a cancellation fee equivalent to one night's rental. Alternatively, a room credit can be requested for future use of the full reservation period but it must be used within 12 months of the initial arrival date, upon availability.
For reservations longer than four days, a 50% deposit for the rental period is required and cancellation must be 14 days prior to the first day of the stay in order to receive a refund of the deposit.
Your debit or credit card will be pre-authorized at check-in for the full amount of your stay. We do not accept checks. We do not provide check cashing services.
Rates – All rates are quoted in U.S. currency, plus tax. Rates may increase without notice. Rates are based on a standard room (1-4 occupancy) and are subject to availability.
